Mudroom reveal.
Can we just talk about the magic of paint?!? Good paint can fix a BUNCH of issues. We live on a horse ranch... so it gets DIRRRRRTY fast out here. We also live on a hill where there is a constant breeze. Very nice for us in the summer, but not so nice for keeping things clean. The mudroom easily gets filthy. That’s why we chose to use semi-gloss oil paints over flat paint in here. It’s easier to keep clean!
This room also had no windows when we bought the home. The door was a solid metal door and felt like a cave. A dirty dark cave. So we cut the door to fit a window so light would come in. That helps so much too.
Last, I’m a firm believer that even the most mundane places in a home can be aesthetically pleasing. When they are, you enjoy them more. So here, we went with a bit of high style by adding some veined marble + art gallery wall to make it feel a little better in here!
