Business & Wealth · Leadership
Leadership starts at home.
For more than thirteen years, I have had the privilege of building businesses and coaching tens of thousands of people around the world. Most of what I know about leadership, I learned by doing it badly first.
The longer I lead, the more convinced I am that leadership is not a title. It is who you are when nobody is clapping.

What I believe
You can't lead others further than you lead yourself.
Every leader eventually runs into the same ceiling: themselves. Your habits, your thinking, your follow-through and your character set the limit for everything you build.
So I start there. Lead yourself well, lead your home well, and leading others becomes a natural overflow.
Principles I lead by
What thirteen years have taught me
01
The slight edge
Small, simple disciplines repeated over time create extraordinary results. Most people quit right before the compounding begins.
02
Violent commitment
Decide once, fully, and stop renegotiating with yourself every morning. Commitment removes a thousand small decisions.
03
Delegate to grow
If someone can do a task about ninety percent as well as you, hand it off. Your time belongs on the things only you can do.
04
Systems over willpower
Willpower runs out. Good systems keep working on your hardest days.
05
Serve first
People follow leaders who genuinely want them to win.
06
Lead by example
Your team, and your children, watch what you do far more than they listen to what you say.

For leaders with full lives
You don't have to choose between ambition and family.
Many of the people I mentor feel pulled in two directions. They want to build something meaningful, and they want to be present at home.
I don't believe in perfect balance. I believe in harmony: knowing what matters most in each season, designing your work around your life, and leading with conviction in both places.
Leadership is not about being in front. It is about going first.
