Full disclosure on sponsorships and affiliates.

We’re home (not house) creators. Here we share about our revolving home projects, renovations, and changes in our styling. We also share our home design philosophies in hopes that you grow confident and inspired to design the home of your dreams. People often ask us when our phase “XYZ” of our renovations will be done. For us, never. We constantly see new ways to make our house even more “homey” for our young family to love and live in for years to come. So there will always be new ideas flowing through here!

When we begin projects, we are similar to our readers in that we surf Pinterest and make Pinboards and mood boards, we do all the research online, and skim books and magazines in hopes of finding the best brands that fit the practical needs of our busy family but also find ones that flow beautifully with our traditional modern aesthetic. When we finally find the perfect fit and partnership in anything for our home, we may contact them to see if collaboration and sponsorship of the project is mutually beneficial. In other words, if yes, they will donate their product and sometimes pay us a fee in exchange for exposure on this blog. In return, we link to their site and share why we feel in love with their product for our home. Conversely, sometimes we are approached… that always makes us feel so grateful and humble!

Here is what is most important to us in regards to sponsorships and why it matters to you: Our rule is that we won’t accept collaborations that don’t align with who we are, our values, our aesthetics, or with what we feel would be valuable to you, our readers. Ever.

Furthermore, when a product is through any sort of collaboration, we believe in upfront transparency and honesty to you. It will be made clear that that product is via sponsorship. This maintains our editorial integrity with our readers so that you may trust what we share is something we would buy on our own volition. Through these sponsorships, a beautiful gift is created for our readers: hopefully, you each may find a great partner to help you in designing your dream home as these sponsorships gift us the ability to create more content for you all.

Affiliates
In our blog, the use of affiliate links to source where we did purchase something are frequently used. So, if you end up loving a piece of artwork or a pillow or even a choice of tile that we photograph from our home, then click the link and purchase said product, our family will earn a small commission on that sale. From this, you are supporting a family’s livelihood while we help take some research and product testing off your shoulders! Mutual win in our eyes, and we are always so grateful. The difference between affiliate links from sponsorships is that we are not asked to support their products. These products are items we genuinely swooned over and want to share with you!

We are an open book. If you ever have any questions for us or are a business interested in working with us, let’s chat.

As always, thank you so much for taking time to read along and we hope you continue to feel the warmth of home wherever you are.
