A holiday home.
A morning with the Christmas tree lights on is always a good morning! We love a traditional holiday home feel, with a stylish twist. Natural, lush greens and organic textures make it feel extra home-y for the holiday season!
Holiday hearth.
Judge if you must, but we are starting to deck the halls for the holidays around here! The more natural + lush = happier I am! I am OBSESSED with these garlands though... LOOK at them. They are so full and realistic! Link below to shop this image + more 2021 holiday home decor finds!
Throw blanket styling.
Come in & cozy up! I love a good throw blanket - especially in FALL! You might be wondering where to put throw blankets. You might know of the common ways: end of a bed, in a basket near the couch, or on a wooden ladder. All great places! But you can be more creative.
They add detail, texture, and interest to the eye. They give the room a cozy and lived in vibe. You can toss them bunched, lay them flat, fold them. The structure- or lack thereof- is up to you and that adds to the feeling you want to create in your space. Adding blankets along the whole back of an exposed couch is a common thing I do. I also love to put them in the middle of a chair to give a vertical clean line to the piece, or over an ottoman cube to give texture and break up the color a bit, or even on the back of a dining room chair.
While I was digging into all things throw blankets, I rounded up my top 16. And some are in the $20-30 range!
Subtle autumn decorating.
This room is falling into Fall! Darker pillows + fall stems + cozy blankets! I’m a “decorate into fall subtlety” type of person. What about you? Bold Fall decor or subtle decor? What items scream fall to you??
Soak it in.

Mix it up.
A little Monday stylings for ya! Anyone else struggle sometimes with how to style a table or night stand or shelf? Happens to us all! So here’s an easy way to tackle one of those spaces!
Here for the views.
I have to call it, it’s time. This is my fave corner of my house. I see it all day; I change it up often; the sunset streams sun rays right here; my kids play outside this window; my dogs watch the kids and the wild bunnies outside from this corner. So there it is. I’ve said it. I post this corner often. So yeah! FAVE CORNER.
Silver lining.
Overcast days I think can bring the best looking natural light! And that’s what makes a room to me. Today, we are working on finishing up small details in several areas and two new DIY reels - so watch for those this week! Meanwhile, I’m also moving stuff around the house for some new looks with old items!
